Strijid has an extremely busy schedule, and this means that it can be difficult to keep up with a healthy lifestyle. However, she is able to do so, and gave one of her biggest tips in an interview with Glamour. "I think the most important thing for women on-the-go is to be prepared," she says. "I really like to prepare my day the night before if I know the next day is going to be hectic. Brussels sprouts and butternut roasted in the oven, paired with chicken and hummus is my favorite! I'll also make sure to bring healthy snacks or make a lunch/dinner box if I am getting on a plane. I'm not a huge fan of airline food."
Strijid is in great shape, and she says that she likes to do a lot of different workouts to work on different things. "I'm always changing my workouts because I get bored so easily with the same routines," she tells Glamour. "I like to do a mix of weight training/cardio and something that lengthens your muscles, like Pilates, yoga, or barre."
Strijid loves to do cardio workouts as a way to stay in shape. However, her favorite type of cardio exercise is boxing. She tells Glamour, "My favorite cardio workout is definitely boxing so, when I'm not traveling, I go to Dogpound in NYC!"
Strijid is always on the road, which means it can be difficult for her to consistently exercise. However, she has a secret, which she tells Glamour. "When I am traveling, I like to pack a jump rope and ankle weights in my suitcase."
While Strijid isn't a full-on vegetarian or vegan, she is reducing how much meat is in her diet. She says that she is incorporating a lot of veggies and grains into her diet as substitutes. "I've been trying to eat less meat, so for lunch I'll have a bowl of grains, salad, vegetables," she says to ELLE. It's been something I've been trying to do—I think it has certain health benefits for me."
