Hardy Thomson Brumfield, 55, of Atlanta, Georgia, died peacefully on April 8, 2023, after a gallant, faith-filled 10-year battle.
Hardy, the "BabyBoy" Brumfield brother, was born on April 29, 1967, to Bruce and Margaret Harris Brumfield. Hardy's close family and the genuine people of his own Mississippi Delta eternally shaped him. Hardy made everyone laugh and feel his unconditional love whether he was winning 4-H livestock contests, setting records on Indianola Academy's basketball court, or working on the farm.
Hardy drove his 1985 blue Monte Carlo to Mississippi State. He became Rush Chairman and President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, like his three older brothers. Hardy often misbehaved with his fraternity brothers when he wasn't rooting on the Bulldogs. Hardy graduated Summa Cum Laude in Agricultural Economics.
Hardy then worked at the Chicago Board of Trade for 30+ years. He traded 10-year note futures the most for eight years. While Hardy worked hard and played hard, God was picking a life companion. Amy Will Brumfield arrived in February 2000 to brighten Hardy's life. Hardy and Amy married on Palm Beach's beach on May 25, 2003. The births of their three children—Brooke Mackenzie (18), Thomson Will (16), and John Duncan (14)—would be the greatest blessing of the following 20 years. (11).
When not spending time with his family, Hardy was involved in different technological, agricultural, environmental, and healthcare projects, always favouring new investment opportunities that would benefit others. The Brumfield GenRev Foundation will continue Hardy's work and generosity.
Hardy created Rolling B Ranch, an Angus and commercial cattle enterprise, in 2014. This made him a 3rd-generation cattleman on his mother's and father's sides and a shared love with his brother, Frank. Their daily phone calls will be missed forever.
Hardy liked making friends at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, his children's schools and sports, men's bible study groups, YPO, and the Atlanta Youth Project.
"That's enough about me," Hardy would humblely write. I want others to know about Jesus Christ." "He is the giver of all gifts, the King of Kings," he said. "He carried me through this journey and gave and will continue to give me and my family strength." Hardy would quote Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose," as he did with his family.
Hardy requests continued love, support, and prayers for his family. "Peace and blessings," he would text you.
His parents, Bruce Jones Brumfield, Sr. of Inverness and Margaret Harris Swayze Brumfield, died before Hardy. He is survived by his wife, Amy Will Brumfield, his children, Brooke, Thomson, and JD, his brothers, Jay (Shanon), Harris (Terry), Frank (Mary Frances), in-laws Michael and Barbara Will, Chad (LeeAnne) Will, Jodie (Brian) Zwerner, and his 13 nieces and nephews: Parker (Haley) Brumfield, Ally Brumfield, Bella Brumfield, Alec Brumfield, Meredith Brumfield, Bizzy Brumfield, Swayze (Delilah) Brumfield, Blake Brumfield, Lucy Brumfield, and

A Prayer for Hardy brumfield and for Those Who Love Him
O Divine Force of the Living and the Dead, approve of Hardy brumfield, whom we trust has entered this day into your realm. Award harmony, light, and everlasting youth to him who has been taken from us while still a kid. May he always be aware of the tinge of your affection and the gleam of your light in your vast domain? Look delicately upon his family, whose hearts are overburdened with distress. Stroll with them; console them; encompass them with heavenly messengers to lift them from the profundity of their grievous misfortune. At long last, look generously upon our Focal Catholic People group. We stand as a family in our moments of triumph and bliss; give us the mental strength to remain as a family now, despite our lack of Hardy brumfield. May we console each other with expressions of confidence, trust, and love? Persuade our hearts that everything works for the good of those who trust in God. So be it.
Who is Hardy brumfield?
Hardy Brumfield, known as the "BabyBoy" of the Brumfield brothers, was born on April 29, 1967, to Bruce and Margaret Harris Brumfield. The genuine people of Hardy's native Mississippi Delta and his close-knit family eternally influenced the essence of Hardy's character. No matter if he was dominating 4-H livestock competitions, breaking new ground on the basketball court at Indianola Academy, or getting his hands filthy on the farm, Hardy never failed to make people smile or feel his unconditional love.
In 1985, Hardy sped off to Mississippi State in his blue Monte Carlo. He relocated to Sigma Alpha Epsilon, where he served as both the Rush Chairman and President, joining his three older brothers in doing so. Hardy frequently engaged in some mischief with his fraternity brothers while he wasn't busy supporting his favourite Bulldogs. Hardy also managed to complete Agricultural Economics with honors, finishing with a Summa Cum Laude.
After that, Hardy travelled to Chicago, where he would have a prosperous career at the Chicago Board of Trade for more than 30 years. He was the 10-year note futures market's top volume trader for eight years. God quickly selected a life mate while Hardy was occupied with his work- and play-hard lifestyle. God sent Amy Will Brumfield into Hardy's life in February 2000 as a ray of sunshine. Hardy and Amy wed in a stunning beachfront ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida, on May 25, 2003. The births of their three children, Brooke Mackenzie (18), Thomson Will (16), and John Duncan, would be among the most wonderful blessings of the following 20 years. (11).
Hardy, who always preferred new investment opportunities that would have a beneficial impact on the lives of others, became involved in a variety of technological, agricultural, environmental, and healthcare efforts when he wasn't spending time and effort to his family. The knowledge that Hardy's dedication and generosity will continue through the Brumfield GenRev Foundation will bring immense delight to his loved ones.
Hardy started Rolling B Ranch in 2014, a registered Angus and commercial cattle enterprise, to fulfil his farming aspirations. On both his mother's and father's lines, he was now a third generation cattleman, and he and his brother Frank both developed a passion for it. The two will always cherish and miss their daily phone talks.
