How to get Dying Light 2 Weapons

Weapons in Dying Light 2 work a little differently from its predecessor. Enemies will rarely if at all drop any gear on the ground. You can find weapons lying around the environment, near the dumpsters, or in abandoned buildings. In addition, you can always buy yourself weapons for money at various traders inside the game's many camps. Some gear is also obtained by completing specific missions. You cannot craft weapons like you could in the first Dying Light game.

Dying Light 2 Named Weapons

There is a lot of gear in Dying Light 2 that is named in a specific, original way, similar to the Borderlands franchise. Gear has various colors indicating rarity and which item is better than the other at first sight.

  • Caveman – two-handed stick
  • The Bomber – stick
  • Plumber's Choice – long stick
  • Proletarian – long stick
  • The Crosier – mace

There are many more weapons to discover. In addition to your usual means of disposing of zombies, there are also before-mentioned environmental weapons. In order to gain access to them and use them to your advantage, you will have to give one of the main factions of the game called Peacekeepers control over the districts of the city. It will result in traps being set up on the streets of The City.
