Don Mattingly is an American professional baseball player, coach, and manager. He is the bench coach of the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played as first baseman, for the New York Yankees, managed the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Miami Marlins, and coached the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is nicknamed “The Hit Man” and “Donnie Baseball.”
He has four children with his former wife Kim Sexton. Two of their children, Taylor and Preston, played professional baseball.
