Amid a number of celebrities speaking out against R. Kelly, Lady Gaga stood out the most to Christina Aguilera who is now showing her support towards the fellow songstress. As you may be aware, yesterday, Gaga told her fans that she had decided to remove her song Do What U Want featuring R. Kelly, from all streaming services following the many sexual assault and misconduct accusations against him.
Today, Christina took to her platform of choice to praise Lady Gaga for her gesture and bravery.
R. Kelly has been denying all of the allegations!
The history between the two women and the song that was removed goes back to 2013 when they recorded a duet version and then performed it on The Voice!
It has to be noted that their version of Do What You Want can still be found on streaming services.

Aguilera posted some images from their performance and wrote: ‘This is a reminder of women sticking together – and not letting a man take ownership of a great song and moment. And the message of this song still remains that you may have had my body, you’ll never have my heart, voice my life or my mind.’
‘Being a survivor of predators myself, these lines spoke to me, which is why I decided to do the song. I embrace all of the survivors of sexual and domestic violence and abuse, and you @ladygaga, for doing the right thing!’ she added.

But while the fellow singer had only good things to say about Gaga’s decision, R. Kelly’s lawyer, Steven Greenberg slammed her, saying that Lady Gaga is suddenly ruining a talented person’s career and claiming he is a terrible person only because she wants an Academy Award!
