Busted releases brand new version of Meet You There

The momentwe realised that Busted was finally coming back, we were already on the edge of our seat. It was the best early Christmas present we could have ever asked for, especially since everyone (including the lads themselves) had said that after almost thirteen years, a full on reunion would never happen. Guess what, though?

The moment we realised that Busted was finally coming back, we were already on the edge of our seat. It was the best early Christmas present we could have ever asked for, especially since everyone (including the lads themselves) had said that after almost thirteen years, a full on reunion would never happen. Guess what, though? In 2016, it’s finally on the cards and things have been set in motion.

Of course, the McBusted formation was a blessing in disguise for all of us (hello? One Direction and McBusted all at the same time during 1D’s On the Road Again tour? Heaven!). Still, though – nothing quite beats our favourite Year 3000 singers coming together for new projects and exciting prospects that will make us bounce even harder than we already were. Honestly, joy to the world indeed!

One of those exciting new things happened to us today, in the form of another (that’s right, another!) early Christmas presents from the Busted lads. It’s not some random video they gave us – no, James, Charlie and Matt decided to release a video of one of their sessions at the famous studios of Abbey Road. They recorded a new version of their track Meet You There, and decided to be kind enough to release it to the public. We kindly suggest that you give it a listen below, because it has made our entire day.

Of course, we can’t wait to hear this version of Meet You There live at their live arena tour next year. The tour will kick off at Wembley on May 11th, 2016 and will make its way throughout the UK for the rest of the month. It will be the first time in almost thirteen years that the trio has performed together, so we’d say it’s all a bit overdue.

We’re excited and can hardly wait any longer, but until then, this video and the prospect of more news from our boys will be able to pull us through. We’re hoping that this means that the lads are recording some brand new music for us to hear as well. Either way, it will be a Merry Christmas for us indeed!
