  • Dan Reynolds (2010-April 2017, November 2018-2022) – In 2010, she met Dan Reynolds (the lead vocalist of the pop rock band Imagine Dragons) after he was invited to perform an opening set for Nico Vega (the band Aja has served as the lead singer of). He subsequently asked for her help in order to finish some demos he was working on and they started dating soon after. The couple also formed its own indie band called the Egyptian. On March 5, 2011, they tied the knot in a romantic wedding ceremony and the duo was blessed with its first child together, a daughter named Arrow Eve Reynolds, on August 8, 2012. On March 28, 2017, she gave birth to twin girls named Gia James Reynolds and Coco Rae Reynolds. In April 2017, Aja and Dan announced that they were going to get divorced. However, the following year, with the release of the song Bad Liar, he revealed that he had gotten back together with Volkman and she had also assisted in writing the song. On October 1, 2019, they welcomed their 4th child together – a son named Valentine Reynolds. In September 2022, it was announced that the couple had separated and it was revealed in April 2023 that Aja had officially filed for divorce from Reynolds.
